This is a sea salt that has been solar evaporated and harvested off the coast of Brazil from salt ponds. It’s white from the sun and sea and unlike commercial table salt, that is mined and then heavily processed, this is carefully crushed, with no anti-caking agents added. While sodium chloride is still the major salt in sea salt, our sea salt retains the small amounts of those wonderful minerals that help bring a fuller spectrum of energies into the salt – calcium, magnesium, potassium among others. Its small grind makes it a great everyday salt.
